Like all great ideas, DrinkMate was founded around a beer with a few mates. "Mate, where did you get the wine? ..."Down the road at that little place"...."Which little place?" ...Mate! The one that always has the specials" ... so after a couple of hours building the perfect website over the perfect BBQ with mates..... DrinkMate was launched.

3 years later, here we are! As always the initial concept and the final implementation have little in common.

At the core of DrinkMate is the ability of all users to see by picture every brand of booze (beer, wine and spirits) available in Australia, and in time, the rest of the world. As everyone is busy, now you can go online and look up what's on special, where and how much you will pay. As mates of DrinkMate you can also be updated via sms, email and newsletters on the latest drink specials available. Whether you like beer, wine or spirits or all of them, simply sign up and become a member.

By becoming a DrinkMate member you will also receive the latest news and entertainment stories from the industry, plus the best information on all the great booze we like to drink.

To add to this we have also included a Venue Locator so every place that has a licence in Australia cannot only be found, but located by map.
